The Trapet family own 1.85 hectares of this grand cru with gravely and marl top soil with limestone subsoil. That is almost 12% of one of the best vineyards in the world!
All grapes are hand harvested and sorted in the vineyard as well as in the winery where up to 10% of the crop may be rejected. Traditional vinification with native yeasts in open vat fermentation. They use about 10-20% stem inclusion. The wine is aged 10-15% new French barriques.
