Situated high on the hill of Chassagne-Montrachet, it is classified among the best 1er Crus for the appellation. The vines were planted in 1973. This little enclave of grand notoriety is on a steep slope with a limestone subsoil, but with sufficient depth to cultivate the vines.This wine has a step up in complexity and power whille still haveing great freshness. The nose has a touch of smoke with lime curd and zest. A wine that will benefit from 4-10 years in bottle.
