Tabordet 2024 Sancerre (Arrives 6/2)
Domaine Tabordet has 4.5 hectares in Sancerre, in and around Verdingy. The 2024 Sancerre "Domaine" is 50% from Oxfordian limestone ("Caillottes") soils having flat, crushed limestone surface stones, and 50% from Kimmeridgian marl soils (Terres Blanches) having an abundance of fossilized shells. The estate is certified organic and Biodynamic, vinifies with indigenous yeasts, and uses minimal amounts of SO2. Despite the difficult weather in 2024, the Tabordet Sancerre is crisp and lively with aromas of white fruits, citrus and stone with an ample palate of fruit and mineral flavors balanced with good acidity in the refreshing finish. Enjoy over the next 3 to 5 years with Crottin de Chavignol, of course, seafood, grilled fish, sushi and white meats.
