Chassorney 2023 Saint-Romain Blanc Combe Bazin

From 40 year old vines on clay-limestone soils. It is fermented and aged in large, used wood. The resulting wine is just delicious! Notes of lemon curd and zest, with strong minerality and a slightly salty finish. This had great balance and weight with a long finish and lots of freshness! This is fun to drink now with an array of seafood, vegetables, or poultry, or allow to age over the next few years.
