Bruna 2025 Riviera Ligure di Ponente Vermentino

With the first vintage released in 2016, this is a 'newer' wine from Bruna. It comes from vines in the Garaxin vineyard in Pogli, with limestone-rich soils mixed with white & blue clay, dense with fossils. The grapes are harvested "not-too-ripe,"  direct-pressed, and fermented and aged in stainless steel with partial malo. Bruna's Vermentino is a lighter, fresher wine compared to their 'Maje' Pigato. The grapes are harvested earlier than Pigato and retain a crystalline minerality, salty freshness, and green apple, lime, and elderflower.
