Brandeau 2022 'Arcure' VDF

Arcure is a one-time cuvée made by Julien from a plot at the estate that was trained in an trelissed, arched style. It's made from the final harvest of old vines of Merlot and Cabernet Franc on clay-loam terroir, which will be torn out and replaced with new Malbec plantings. Maceration is semi-carbonic and the wine is aged for 1 year in sandstone vats. The style is elegant and light, alluding to dark fruits and earth tones, but with vibrant acidity and lift. It's a shame there will only be one bottling of this wine! Enjoy with snacks, dinner, pastas, meats, really anything!
