Another benchmark wine from the region, Thevenet's Morgon comes from 60 to 100+ year-old vines planted in sandy, granitic soils. The 2024 tasted recently was lively and fresh with perfumed red fruit over an an underlying mineral core. A beautiful wine to drink now, but has structure to age nicely for ten years or more.
