From a parcel of Pinot Noir planted in in 1955, the vineyard is a natural clos (enclosed garden, or vineyard in this case) that is completely shaded by surrounding forests. Aging is 55% in large concrete tanks, 41% in used french oak barrels, and 4% in stoneware jars for 7 months. The profile here is riper and deeper than the SIn Azufre or Lunita bottlings. Elegant now, and certainly age-worthy.
