This was one of the more unique and surprising wines we tried during our visit to France in February, a blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and skin-contact Gewurztraminer. It drinks like a light red but with bright peachy aromatics from the Gewurz, a copper salmon color and zippy fresh acid. It's great with a chill and is refreshing and juicy on the palate, with enough complexity to appeal to the wine nerds but easy to drink and approachable at the same time.
