This is 100% Pinot Noir from 45 year-old vines in sandstone soils. Grapes see twelve days maceration followed by eleven months aging in barrels. 2023 was a great year for Pinot in Alsace, with a nice level of ripeness while maintaining freshness and acidity. It shows nice supple Pinot fruit with fine tannins and persistent acid, with great depth and complexity.
