Lamoresca 2025 Sicilia Rosato

Hands down one of my favorite Rosatos every year, and the 2025 in particular feels more restrained and herbal than years past. Strawberry leaves, mint, tomato leaves, watermelon, cherry, violets, and a briny, smoky finish. So much vibrancy radiating, whether you drink this on its own or alongside a stinky cheese, a tomato based pasta, or anything with mushrooms, this would be lovely.

20% Frappato, 70% Nero d’Avola, 10% Zibibbo on sandy soils. 3-4 hours of skin maceration in vertical "tini", then a gentle pressing and aging in stainless steel tanks. Minimal added sulfur and no filtering or fining.
