Joaquin 2019 Vino della Stella Fiano d'Avellino (Arrives 8/18)

Vino della Stella is from a small single parcel (less than 1 hectare) in the town of Lapio with clay-limestone volcanic soils, some of the best terroir for Fiano in Avellino from its high elevation, cool climate, and temperature swings between day and night. The wine spends eight months on the lees in stainless steel and fiberglass, followed by significant bottle aging.

The nose on the 2019 is gorgeous with notes of smoked honey, jasmine, and hazelnut praline, with the palate following with sesame, toast and sea salt all with a very long and broad finish. The palate keep expanding and evolving.
