Joaquin 2022 Vino della Stella Fiano d'Avellino (Arrives 8/18)

Vino della Stella is from a small single parcel (less than 1 hectare) in the town of Lapio with clay-limestone volcanic soils, some of the best terroir for Fiano in Avellino from its high elevation, cool climate, and temperature swings between day and night. The wine spends eight months on the lees in stainless steel and fiberglass, followed by significant bottle aging.

2022 is the current release, Rafaaele believes in the process of bottle aging for tertiary notes to appear. This wine has exactly that- asian pear, floral honey, and quince up front supported by deeper notes of toasted rice and cereal emerging in the finish.
