Gruaud Larose has implemented an impressive program of agro-ecology focused on biodiversity in the vineyard and organic and biodynamic farming, with organic conversion officially begun in 2019 and certification received in 2022.  "The 2022 Sarget de Gruaud-Larose is plump, juicy and wonderfully giving, in other words everything a second wine should be. Juicy dark cherry, plum, mocha, lavender, rose petal and spice are front and center. The Sarget is a dense second wine that captures all of the natural radiance of the year."
