Gauby 2021 Cotes Catalanes Les Calcinaires Blanc

The 2021 Gauby "Calcinaires" is a beautiful Roussillon white, ripe and dense and with firm acidity and mineral notes, an approximate blend of Grenache Blanc, Macabeo, Vermentino and Chardonnay grown on the limestone/clay soils of Calce. The nose is fresh and floral with citrus and stone fruits, herbal and mineral notes. Well-structured with firm acidity underlying the round and complex palate, with a vibrant, mineral finish. Drink over the next 5 to 8 years.
