Fürst 2023 Bürgstadter Spätburgunder

Planted between 1983-2010 on iron-rich red sandstone soils. A village level wine from Bürgstadter. Made with 20-50% whole cluster with ambient yeast fermentation in open-top wooden and concrete tanks. Aged for 16-18 months in used barrels. The wine has a tiny bit darker fruit quality than the Tradition, but has excellent perfume and floral notes. The wine still contains excellent lift and a lovely bright, long finish.
