This is 100% Nero d'Avola from Fernow Ranch in Acampo, California. The vines are planted on sandy alluvial soils that have been farmed organically their whole lives. Grapes are destemmed and spend a year in neutral French oak barrels. It's a nice combination of darker brambly fruit with great energy and freshness, structured but still not heavy. It's a great option for bbq or anything grilled, just in time for summer!
