100% Nero d'Avola from the estate vineyards in the Vittoria region. Young vines on red soils of subalpine sands composed of limestone and silica. This bottling is always one of the most unbridled of the entire COS lineup, calmly energetic with a fragrant earth nose intermingled with savory game notes that speaks of the nuturing land. A melting pot of dark fruit, ripe black plum, succulent blackberries and dark cherry dusted with tobacco and clove with a touch of citrus peel. Elegant and wild in its identity, decanting is recommended before serving.
