Barbichette 2023 Le Blanc

This is a direct-press Riesling from the Finger Lakes that spends a year in cask. On the nose it's crisp and fresh with some green apple and citrus fruit, with a defined minerality on the palate. While pale and light in style, there is some texture without having any overpowering hints of oak. There's some structure and tension while retaining impeccable balance - delicious on its own or with lighter seafood dishes. It's a beautiful example of a dry Finger Lakes Riesling that has plenty of character and personality.
