Amevive 2023 Grenache Alisos Canyon

This Grenache comes from Martian Ranch Vineyard, a certified biodynamic vineyard on the southwest side of Alisos Canyon. It is made from just two fermenters, one with 100% whole clusters and the other destemmed. The grapes spent about two weeks on skins before being gently pressed. Only the best six barrels were used for the final wine. It's a lifted and ethereal expression that is reminiscient of some Gredos Garnacha, with bright cherry and cranberry fruit and subtle floral notes alongside a deep mineral backbone. It's a wine you can get lost in, but also one that's easy to enjoy. Serve at cellar temp alongside a variety of poultry or even seafood dishes.
