From a vineyard that dates back to 1593. Mid slope on a west facing site that has a thin layer of slit soil before hitting limestone. Spontaneous fermentation and then spends a year aging in barrique on the lees. Stony minerality opens to beautiful ripe fruit and show an incredibly focused example of Chardonnay. My notes from my initial taste of this wine say, "beautiful! really fantastic" and that is it!
