A fantastic blanc de blanc from a single plot in Troissy with sand, clay, and lignite soils. Aleixs’ father planted Chardonnay on this plot against the village tradition because he believed it would thrive at the site (and it does). This is coming from the incredible 2019 vintage and is vinified with indigenous yeast in cask. It is aged in the cellar for at least 5 years before disgorgement. This is an absolutely beautiful Champagne with perfectly ripened fruit balanced with a chalky minerality. There is a true brightness here with a really elegant finish.
