Thierry Navarre is Back!
The authentic natural wines of Thierry Navarre in the Languedoc have just arrived! We're proud to be working with the affable Thierry Navarre, one of the first producers of natural wines in the Languedoc. Based in the town of Roquebrun in Saint-Chinian, Thierry became the third generation to take over the domaine's high-altitude vineyards in 1988 and continued his grandfather's legacy of preserving ancient varieties. Today, Thierry is one of the few winemakers in the region still making wine from the obscure Œillades (a cousin of Cinsault), Terret and the light and delightfully floral Ribeyrenc.

In neighboring Faugeres, Sybil Baldassarre is making some of the most fascinating natural zero SO2 wines of France. She was recently featured as a "great winemaker of tomorrow" in the Revue des Vins de France "On the heights of Cabrerolles, Sybil Baldassarre, passionate about ampelography, replants historic white grape varieties of Languedoc. You have to come from elsewhere and have a demanding passion to settle on the schist plateau of Faugères and devote yourself to whites on this Languedoc land of reds. Impressive from her first vintage, Sybil Baldassarre, a young Lombard woman, is a convincing and remarkable winemaker."
The Clos du Gravillas is situated on the limestone plateau of the Haut Minervois - the location is extraordinary - a plateau surrounded by hills and mountains, composed of solid limestone with "soil" of limestone rocks and fossilized seashells. John and Nicole are serious, experience winemakers who take advantage of this unusual spot to make profound wines of terroir that are both incredibly delicious and great fun to drink - in the true spirit of wine as a beverage to be shared and enjoyed. Here is a range of wines that is joyful and creative - we invite you to try them all!
