Eminence Road 2022 Chardonnay

This is 100% Chardonnay from the eastern side of Seneca Lake, grown on the Honeoye silt loam soils that mark the region. Grapes were destemmed and pressed before being moved to two eight-year-old French oak barrels with the remainder going into stainless steel tanks. It was racked off its lees in August 2024 after nearly two years aging. At only around 10% abv it's light on its feet but still has nice fruit and depth, with a chalky mineral finish.
