Trossen, Rita & Rudolf 2023 Mosel Hubertus Riesling Purus Trocken

From the Kinheimer Hubertuslay on gray and blue slate. The vines are 47 years old. Everything is hand harvested, gently pressed and then spontaneously fermented. It is rested on the full lees in very old Fuders for 7 months. The nose blew my away with so much going on, ripe citrus, perfumed florals, and a hint of spice. For how ripe and fruity the nose is, the palette is completely dry, very precise and has excellent lift. A very unique yet focused and delicious wine.
