Trish Nelson’s Trilli Special is 100% Procanico, a local variety of Trebbiano. This bottling is ‘special’ because the wine spent an accidental extra two years in bottle after getting lost during a cellar organization. A bit more smoky and mineral on the nose, less stonefruit than her Vino Bianco, but showing lovely herbal notes like tarragon, and with a brighter, pricklier acidity.
