Ratapoil 2023 Amphore Rouge VDF

From Vins de Lieu website: A blend of Enfariné, Geuche, Portugais bleu, Béclan, and Mézy. This red comes from the co-planted plot of ancient Jura varieties close to the Monnier home. The grapes are hand harvested, de-stemmed, then put into a container where they undergo an infusion-like maceration. The “amphore” is a variation of the standard Ratapoil rouge cuvée where the grapes macerate for 8 months in amphora before bottling.
