Combined of two plots, the first is on the lower portion and the second is in the middle of the Clos. The vines were planted between 1946 and 1986. Everything is hand harvested and then fermented with native yeast in cement tanks. Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels a portion of which is new. There is power with rich dark fruit and firm tannins. A fairly approachable Clos de Vougeot but patience will still be rewarded here.
