A 1-hectare monopole just below 1er Cru Champonnet that contains 50 year old vines. Harvested by hand and fully destemmed before a short cold maceration. Fermented with native yeast in cement tanks. Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, with 20% new oak. Amazing depth and concentration fo fruit. Great ripeness with lovely spiced and earth tones. This was drinking exceptionally well now but will continue to age for 5+ more years.
