Couvent 2021 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru Aux Mazoyeres (Pre-Arrival Fall 2026)

Their plot is located on the top of the Mazoyeres climat on a small hill in front of Latricieres. The soils are limestone-clay with white marl, and the vines are over 60 years old. They use a portion of whole cluster depending on the vintage in order to gain extra complexity and depth. This wine is robust and full of vigor while young that slowly will turn towards elegance as it ages. Strawberry notes with approachable, ripe red fruits. A bit juicy but with a refined structure as well. Will be in a great drinking window in 5-10 years.
