We love Passtoutgrains at Chambers Street and the 2022 Lescure is a terrific example. The mostly red fruit is bright and crisp, with a bracing vein of acidity, and there is the tell-tale fresh black-and-white pepper quality that is indicative of Gamay on limestone. Everything one could ask for of the appellation and a great bargain.
