Artifice (Borja Perez) 2021 Tinto

Borja Pérez, the winemaker behind the Ignios Origenes label from Tenerife, is a proponent of traditional winemaking with a strong focus on the superb volcanic terroir of his island. Artifice Tinto is all Listan Negro, from a variety of plots in the northern region of Tenerife. A beautiful, vibrant wine with notes of citrus rind, cranberry, strawberry, exotic spices and smokiness on the nose, with an admirably delicate light- to medium-bodied palate with gentle tannins.
