Creve Coeur 2024 Cotes du Rhone Rouge

This beautiful Cotes du Rhone from Pablo Hocht at Creve Coeur is made from 60 to 70 year-old vines of Grenache in Biodynamic farming, with an interesting mix of semi-carbonic and traditional fermentations with whole-cluster and de-stemmed grapes. The 2024 is a lovely wine and a great value, showing a deep crimson/purple color with very pretty black cherry and raspberry aromas with violet, spice and licorice. The palate is silky and ripe with lush cherry and red currant fruit, fresh and bright with firm acidity and a lip-smaking, very long and sapid finish. It's a bit lighter and brighter than the 2023, fresh  and really delicious! Serve cool with grilled meats and stews, nice with white meats and lighter fare as well. Sensational quality for the very low price!
