An energetic expression of Sangiovese, bursting with juicy red fruit and a spine of tension running through the palate. Notes of cherry, red licorice, and pomegranate with just a touch of leather, showcasing the youthful side of Sangiovese with incredible freshness. The soil is a mix of sand, clay and limestone in varying amounts depending on vineyard location. Hand-harvested, spontaneous fermentation and maceration for three weeks in stainless steel. Aged nine months in large, Slavonian oak barrels.
