Cady 2023 Cabernet D'Anjou Rosé
Americans do not drink demi-sec rosé, but you should drink this one! Here's a wonderful review from Chris Kissack "This traditionally styled Cabernet d’Anjou is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, vinified using pressurage direct before the juice is fermented in stainless steel. It has a classic Cabernet nose, wonderfully leafy, with summer fruits in a sweet and powdery expression. The palate is simply delightful, with the demi-sec level of residual sugar acting as a cushion for layers of sweet summer berries, powdered chalk, rose petals and mint. Beautiful substance, sweetness and freshness here, with bright acidity too. A charmer. Drink this year, or hold for two or three decades, the choice is yours." I love the idea of cellaring this wine for 20 years - not practical at my age perhaps, but it gives you an idea of the superb quality of this wine. Try it!!
