From old vines in eight different lieux-dits totaling 1.8 hectares. They are Le Fourneau, Jouise, Creux Brouillard, Croix des Champs, Es Murrots, Les Crais, Combe du Lavaut, Les Lavaux, Clos Prieurs-Bas and Vignes Belles. Manual harvest and destemmed before a cold soak of several days. Pump-overs and punch-downs during maceration. After about three weeks, the wine is moved to barrels where malolactic fermentation occurs. Then aged for 12 months in 66% barrique with the rest in stainless steel. The two are combined for an additional 6 months before bottling.

The wine has incredible spice and a meaty quality alongside dark cherry and plum. It has excellent structure and texture while still being elegant. The finish is long with  freshness and lift.
