Recaredo 2020 Corpinnat Intens Rosat Brut Nature

This Monastrell and Garnacha Rosat from Recaredo is a deep red with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and Mediterranean fennel. The palate follows the nose, with elegant bubbles, admirable length, and a pleasantly drying finish. The base wine comes from the estate's biodynamically and organically farmed vines to the south and the west of the bodega at Sant Sadurni d'Anoia. The grapes were harvested by hand, then pressed and the juice macerated on the skins for six hours, then fermented and aged in a mix of vessels. Tirage is exclusively with must from Recaredo's own vines, the wines age in bottle under cork, and all remuage is done by hand at the bodega.
