Perrin, Celine 2022 Bourgogne Hautes-Cotes de Nuits

The Perrin Hautes-Cotes de Nuits is from vines in and around Ladoix, including the "Clos des Fourches," a tiny parcel above Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru "Clos de la Marechale."  The 2022 shows a bright red/garnet color and a pretty melange of earth, cherry, violet, raspberry, licorice and citrus in the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with nice density of sapid cherry and berry fruits that is backed with bright firm acidity and mineral flavors, remaining light on its feet at 12.5% alcohol. Opening the day before, or a few years in the cellar ae advised, serve cool and enjoy this delightful wine!
