"Nolens Volens" means "like it or not" or "willy-nilly", an apt description of this single vineyard Welschriesling from "Unconventional Thinker" ("Kolfok") Stephan Wellanschitz. It comes from 100% schist soils and spends time spontaneously fermenting in 300-500 L neutral barrels that come from the forests around Neckenmarkt.
