No, we're not suggesting that you serve Vosne-Romanee "Les Suchots" with your hamburgers! But we love selling real Burgundies of terroir at reasonable prices, and today's email contains some of our favorites that will provide real Pinot Noir pleasure with anything off the grill - and without breaking the bank.

We'd like to especially feature the wines of Domaine Celine Perrin in Ladoix which display the lovely ripeness and balance of this excellent vintage in Burgundy, but retain the firm minerality, fragrance and purity typical of these lighter-bodied somewhat old-fashioned wines. We're getting down to the last few cases of each wine, until the next shipment arrives in the fall...

We'll include a few affordable whites for your aperitif, or perhaps with some oysters? With a special shout-out for the beautiful Claudie Jobard 2021 Rully "En Villerange" - from a 2 hectare parcel of 70 year-old vines on a well-exposed slope facng south-south-east with clay/limestone soils.  This is a great value in white Burgundy and very versatile at the table!
