We don't remember this cuvée from the early days when Garnier's wines were in New York, but it's clearly a top wine for him, not just because it's the most expensive. The structure here and dry extract create a scintillating experience for the palate. Taught and structured, almost earthy, slightly oxidative on the attack, with feeling of stone fruit skins on the finish. A lovely wine. Aged in neutral barrels.
