Bow & Arrow 2021 Willamette Valley Union School Chenin Blanc

One of the more linear and precise Chenins I've had from the U.S. While there are hints of tropical fruit and honey tones, at its core there is a chiseled minerality here that parallels some of the great dry wines from Vouvray, while still offering some extraction and body that really give it as its own identity. This is a powerful expression that would do well alongside roasted chicken or creamy pasta dishes, or with any variety of pungent cheeses. It continues to evolve with air and will get better and better as the meal goes on, or opening an hour early would not hurt either.
