This is a stand out Chenin Blanc from the Vaillant's parcel in Bonnezeaux. With the 2020 vintage being particularly powerful here, they took a patient approach with the wine, aging for 1 year in large barrels with some new (though a very light toast) and then an additional year in porcelain and gres (sandstone). I was transported by this wine. Not cheap by any means, but exceptional Chenin that will surely age gracefully though is impressive now.
