Matthiasson 2023 Rose

The Matthiasson rosé is always a favorite, and this year's is no exception. The blend is 40% Grenache, 32% Barbera, 15% Mourvèdre, and 13% Counoise, with each grape lending its vital characteristic (Grenache for texture, Mourvèdre for minerality, Counoise for fruitiness and Barbera for brightness) to the finished product. Grapes are sourced from the Windmill Vineyard and Muller Vineyard, both farmed organically. The result is a clean, crisp, pale rosé that's still full of flavor. At 11.5% abv it's perfect for those hot summer days, with great acidity and enough verve to stand up to your summer BBQ needs.
