Fossil & Fawn 2022 Willamette Valley Do Nothing

Do Nothing refers both to how the wine is made and to what you should plan to do while drinking it. It's a perfect summer chiller that's made up of an ever-changing mix of red and white grapes, often including but not limited to Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, although each vintage is a slightly different blend. The grapes are co-fermented and left to do their thing, resulting in a light but flavorful red(ish) wine that's perfect with a chill. Loaded with strawberry citrus zest and punchy acidity, there's just a touch of earth and subtle texture that makes it much more exciting than your average porch pounder. While it's perfectly delicious on its own, it really shines with summer foods - grilled seafood, tacos, or even burgers would be an ideal companion. Next time you hit the park be sure to pack one of these in the cooler and you will not be disappointed!
