This is 100% Savagnin from old vines on south facing slopes, made in a topped-up style but still possessing all the classic Jura character and charm. It's a pale straw color in the glass, with subtle nuttiness and fresh baked bread on the nose. The palate is textured and saline with hints of apple fruit, savory spice and great acidity with a lingering finish. It's a perfect accompaniment to cheese and charcuterie, but could do well alongside roasted chicken or fatty fish.
