The 2022 Basket Rosé is a blend of hybrids: 77% Cayuga White, 15% Aromella and 8% Landot Noir, from Elizabeth's Vineyard, Folts Farm and Eminence Road's home farm vineyard. It's a fascinating deeper rosé that exhibits a unique blend of floral, fruity and savory elements. The nose shows some subtly perfumed white flowers, with grapefruit and melon fruit on the palate that finishes with an herbal and slightly vegetal kick. It's unlike any rosé we've tried and would appeal to those who like orange wine as well, with nice texture and a dry finish.
