Matthiasson Sweet Vermouth No.6 375ml

This is one of the most singular and delicious Vermouths available, and is the result of meticulous work at every level of the production. The base wine is mainly a rare variety called Flora, a cross between Semillon and Gewurztraminer. The fruit is picked late with some botrytis and raisins, and it enters a solera system dating back to 2016. Many of the herbs and infusions are home grown and homemade, making truly a Vermouth of a certain place. It's a complex array of fruits and spices that is intoxicating and leaves a lasting impression. It makes a great aperitif or dessert wine on its own, but can elevate any cocktail that calls for sweet vermouth. This is just the sixth batch they've made since starting to craft Vermouth twelve years ago - a very special treat!
