The Terre des Chardons "Rosée d'Eté" is 40% Syrah, 40% Grenache and 20% Cinsault grown on a small parcel of clay/limestone soils in the Costieres de Nimes, in organic and Biodynamic agriculture since 2002. (It's spelled Rosée, we're not sure why...) The 2023 is a very lovely, elegant and silky rosé showing delightfully floral red currant and raspberry aromas with citrus, peach and a bit of spice. The palate is refreshing and sapid with mineral notes under the very pretty and subtle fruit, finsihing clean and long. Delicious by itself and a great accompaniment to just about anything - and a superb value at $16.99!
