Breuer, Georg 2020 Rauenthal Estate Riesling Trocken

Rauenthal is one of the most elevated winegrowing regions in the Rheingau. Vineyards are found up to 300 meters (984ft) above sea level sitting at the feet of the Taunus mountain range north of Eltsville on the Rhine. The soils here are made up of phyllite, a type of metamorphic rock containing quartz, mica and chlorite. The vines from these vineyards produce wines of great minerality and purity.
